About the game
The player can choose between several Single Player game modes: Quick Race, Race Weekend, Championship, Time Attack and Superstars Licenses. Quick Race let's you take part to a race selecting driver, track, car, simulation level, driving aids, weather and lap numbers all in one menu, while Race Weekend will take you through qualifying and daily sessions. The backbone of the game is the Championship mode: either the official Championship or a custom Championship can be selected. Before starting a race, the game allows the player to change several settings in order to prepare the car for the track. It's possible to play around with parameters such as suspensions, tire type, stabilisers, gears, brakes and motor mapping. On this specific feature, Superstars V8 is every bit as good as other car simulations on the market at the moment. Options are many and will make enthusiasts happy. If one prefers to compete against online friends he can then start an online Quick Race or even an online Championship for up to 16 drivers on track. Together with all other official Championship drivers, a prestigious protagonist will be Gianni Morbidelli, the actual Superstars champion, who actively took part in the development of the game: "It's with great enthusiasm that I collaborated concretely to the development of the game. As a professional driver and videogame enthusiast, the tips that I gave to Blackbean and Milestone highly contributed to make the driving experience more realistic than ever and at the same time enjoyable and rewarding for rookies and veterans alike" said Gianni Morbidelli, "Another reason for pride is that Superstars V8 Next Challenge is 100% Made in Italy and it's the result of the work of many competent and passionate people. I really hope that this collaboration will continue in the future".
